A mechatronics technician is a cross between a millwright in mechanical skills, an industrial electrician in troubleshooting expertise, and a computer programmer in programming and operating automated equipment including industrial robots and commercial heating and cooling systems. Promoting energy efficiency is a growing aspect of the trade.

Our focus is on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and energy efficiency.

The full Mechatronics program leads to a two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Mechatronics/Industrial Automation Technology.

A one-year certificate is available in Industrial and Building Mechanic/Green Technician. It prepares people for entry-level industrial and commercial jobs. Short Term certificates are also available in Industrial Refrigeration and Maintenance.
